CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION (collection and use) OVERVIEW Passport International collects information when you register or add a rental inquiry or a property listing at Passport International Vacation Rentals. and may combine information about you with information we obtain from business partners or other companies. Passport International collects information about your transactions with us, including information about your use of our services. Passport International automatically records information on our server logs from your browser, including (but not limited to) your IP address, cookie information, and pages you request. Passport International uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients. UNDERAGE CLIENTS When a child under age 13 attempts to register with Passport International, we ask that he/she obtain parental permission. Passport International will not contact children under age 13 for sales or marketing purposes without a parent's permission. Passport International does not ask a child under age 13 for more personal information than is necessary to participate in a given activity or promotion. DISCLOSURE AND/OR SHARING OF INFORMATION Passport International will not rent, sell, or share your personal information with others or with nonaffiliated companies except in order to provide products or services to you, when we have your permission to do so, or under the following circumstances: Providing the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with Passport International under confidentiality agreements. Certain communications from Passport International, such as service announcements, administrative messages and the Passport International Newsletter, are considered part of Passport International membership and you may not opt out of receiving them. You can delete your Passport International account by editing your listing information page. CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY OVERVIEW Access to personal information about you is restricted to employees who require that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs. Physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations will be put in place to protect your personal information. Your Passport International Account Information will be password-protected. In certain areas, Passport International may also use industry-standard encryption to protect data and/or transmissions.
