Manor Cottage and Tranquility Base (self-catering accommodation) are located in the quiet Baviaanskloof area of Hout Bay, in a quiet cul-de-sac high up on the side of the mountain. It has direct access to the mountain/walks on the mountain. Hout Bay has numerous attractions, and the Cape Peninsula, Cape Town and the Cape Winelands are within easy reach. 25 mins from Cape Town centre and 30 mins from Cape Town International Manor Cottage is a lovely home set in the mountains of Hout Bay with two double bedrooms and one with twin beds; main bedroom with shower bathroom and second and third bedrooms share a full bathroom downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and the house is serviced daily (Mon-Fri). Manor Cottage accommodation includes: Open plan lounge and dining room Fully equipped kitchen 3 bedrooms (two doubles, one twin) and one room with a double sleeper couch,and ample cupboard space Patio with mountain and valley views and braai facilities front and rear (barbecue) Fully equipped with quality furniture, fittings, etc. Private garden

Nestled between mountains and sea, the beauty and charm of the village of Hout Bay never cease to amaze visitors and locals alike. Hout Bay has managed to keep a village atmosphere, even though it is only 20 minutes away from Cape Town city centre. The village boasts a few shopping centres, many restaurants, a working fishing harbour, the largest bird park in South Africa, many hiking trails, nature reserves and a white sandy beach! The world famous Chapmans Peak drive was opened to the public again at the end of last year after major renovations. It is now a toll road, but well worth the R20 per trip!
